City Completes Water Main Repair on Elm Street

The City of Fairview Public Works Department has completed the emergency water main repair along the 200 block of Elm Street. Work began Monday morning after a break was identified during routine inspection. Service was restored to all affected properties by Wednesday afternoon. Mayor Vang thanked residents for their patience during the repair. "Our crew worked quickly and professionally to restore service," she said. "We appreciate the understanding of the neighbors impacted." A water discoloration advisory was issued and has since been lifted. Residents who still notice discoloration should run cold water for 2–3 minutes and contact City Hall at 417-632-4318 if the issue persists.
